Facebook Pitch Deck that Allowed it to Raise $16 Billion over 16 Rounds

Meta has raised a total of $16.1B in funding over 16 rounds. Their latest funding was raised on Oct 20, 2014 from a Post-IPO Equity round.

We know that Mark Zuckerberg and Eduardo Saverin created Facebook as a social network for universities, at Harvard. But what we don't know is that when they first pitched the idea to potential investors, they didn’t have a clear business plan. You can't create a startup pitch deck that lacks a single focus.

So, what they used were the facts and numbers they already had - including their customer base, user engagement, and growth metrics. It's an example of a successful startup pitch deck for certain.
